| In conjunction with the 20th Anniversary of University Brunei Darussalam (UBD), 13 selected Karatekas from KB Honbo Dojo joined forces with the UBD Dojo to put up a Karatedo Demo. at the University's Central Lecture Theatre (CLT) on 19 January 2006. |
| Shihan Hj. Malai Mohammed led the KB Humbo group, assisted by 3 Senior Black Belts, Gary Lim Kwok Chuen, Azyrin Sahari and Mohd. Faizal bin Basri, who were ex-UBD graduates. All 3 had been past presidents of the UDB Wadokai Dojo, too. Sensei Pg. Hashim, the UBD Instructor, together with Nuruljannah bte Aripin (Black Belt, current President of the UBD Karate-do Club), Ahmad Bohare bin Mansur, the Vice-President, and eight of UBD Karate-do members took part in the Demo. |
| All members did Basic Kihon Demo and Kata Shodan and Nidan. Advanced Katas were performed by Mira, Eda and Masdiana bte. Hj. Tengah (a Brunei National Team Karatedo player). |

| Wood breaking by Nuruljannah. Azyrin and Gary put up a Katana Defence with mock samurai sword. Other events included Hariz's long jump kick, a druken group and abusive friend. The Demo was warmly responded with rounds of applause from the crowds, most of whom were UBD undergraduates, lecturers, outsiders and public visitors. |
