On 5 February 2006, KB Honbu Dojo sent a team of 27 players to take part in the BRUKAF REMAJA (Ages 16 - 21) Tournament at Mengaliat, Gadong.

Wado's new blood with their fighting spirits, impressed the National Team SUKMA Selection Committee in the Kumite events when they were pitted against the experienced veteran Brunei National Team Players.

During the Prize Presentation, the SUKMA Selection Team announced that those BRUKAF REMAJA Championship Winners would need to go for further screening by the National Team SUKMA Selection Committee.

The winnners included some Wado players from KB Honbu Dojo.  However, due to school commitment and public examinations, half of the selected Wado players opted to withdraw from the pool of SUKMA National Team.

The ones who stayed with the SUKMA Team are Nurulain bte. Mohd. Idrus, Md. Fidayi bin Sanif, Muhammad Ruddin Al-Haj bin Mohd. Rommy and Ak. Zaim bin Pg. Hj. Rosli.

Currently, together with the rest of the National players from Bandar, all the above KB Players are undergoing their intensive training under Sensei Okhida (National Coach) and Sensei Ampuan Osman (Jabatan Belia & Sukan). 

The KB players are housed in the Games Village at the National Stadium, Berakas.  Under special agreement and arrangement between the Ministry of Education and Jabatan Belia & Sukan, the KB players are continuing their education at Maktab Duli, while one of them is at the Technical School, simultaneously undergoing the intensive training.
